Q. - How many members have been in the Rancid Polecats and who are they?
A. - 15.
Pat Jerusalem (current), Tim Coch (current), Dr. Myhe vonEerhurtz (current), Thor Skidd (current), Ringo (current), PiG, Dingo Boy, Grand Jester G, Leroy McGuilicutty, Hey, hey, Sizzlechest - the Grey Ranger, Joey Cappuccino, Drunk Bastard, Reeba Dot, Sean Robinson, Craig Glisson

Q. - Where are you from?
A. - Tampa, FL.

Q. - Where have you played?
It depends who you ask. If you ask Pat Jerusalem, we've played just about everywhere, including China, North Dakota, Guam, and Thonotassasa. I don't quite believe him, especially on the last one...We have played just about everywhere in Tampa, FL. Also North and South Carolina, Atlanta, and New York, and Guam (it was on the way).

Q. - I heard a rumor that there are secret messages on this site. Is this true?
No. Especially not on the opening page or on the music page.

Q. - How long has the band been together?
283 years.

Q. - Where are the band members from?
DingoBoy is from Australia, PiG used to be a shepherd in Ireland (go figure), Pat Jerusalem was found wandering the Sahara desert, Tim Coch was a Las Vegas "hair band" lounge singer, Dr. Myhe vonEeerhurtzpqz was illegally practicing guitar in Tijuana, Mexico, and Thor Skidd came from the heavens weilding his mighty hammer.

Q. - Is this the Rancid Website?
No it's not. It's also not the "Polecats" website, or the NAMBLA website, nor is it the Middle East Center for bomb recovery website or the National Association of Gardener's website.
While we're glad people mistake this site for some obscure Rancid album called "Polecats", this is the freakin' "Rancid Polecats" website!!!

Q. - Are you guys in that band Rancid?
No, we're not the band Rancid!!!
Look...I'll give you some examples - The Who and The Guess Who, The Verve and The Verve Pipe, The Monkeys and Sonic Death Monkey (that last one was a little stretch), but you get the idea. Band names come from many different places. Just thankfully we've never had the names ICU or Catherine Wheel. We hear those names have already been taken.

Q. - Are there plans for a new album?
We have a new album coming out (sometime before we're dead) tentatively titled, "Temple of the Golden Shower". There were a couple of songs written around the first album that didn't make it on there, these being "Mamma Doublewide" and "Bus Stop Bitches". Other tracks that we have performed live already, include "Butt Nugget Saloon", "My Girlfriend Hates Cindy Crawford", and "Rubber Pants". All other songs remain a secret for now, but we'll let you know when they're unveiled.
